Hi Everyone,

It’s been a while since I wrote anything here, so thought it was about time to bring you up to date.

We have been very busy… fishing :-)

Big Rooster Fish Mal Pais, Costa Rica

35 pound Rooster Fish and Happy Fishermen!

As you can see from the photos, July was a great month for Wahoo and Rooster Fish, some captains pulling in over 15 per trip. We lost some BIG snappers but all in all was a great month with lots of fish caught and some very happy Fishermen and Fisherwomen.

Aaron Atkey, our lead fishing guide, has been working hard to put the people on the fish and has done a stellar job making it happen this summer.

We have also been experimenting with the Kayaks offshore and this has proven to be a great hit. It really changes the game when you are fighting a 30-plus pound fish from the seat of a sit-on-top Kayak! To make it easier we are offering this to anglers as an option when going offshore in one of our boats. We load the Kayak in the boat for the 2-3 mile run and then when we are in the trolling zone we troll with the Kayak behind the boat and wait for the action! We will have some videos for you to watch soon of our offshore Kayak fishing.

We have also been busy working on our Outdoor Supply store in the capital city of San Jose, Costa Rica. Our store will will be featuring a wide selection of fishing tackle, Fishing Kayaks, Recreational Kayaks and quality Camping Supplies for the outdoor adventurer.

Wahoo Fish Tacos anyone?

With so much to do outside in Costa Rica we want to be sure you are outfitted properly to enjoy your outdoor pursuits to the fullest and with the best equipment available.

Until next time,
